True happiness is being happy without these possessions. If you are counting on your possessions to make you happy, think about the day when you will lose everything. You will be the unhappiest person on the face of this planet. If you are not happy with what you have, you will never be happy with what you get.
We come in this world to do our “karmas”. We get the fruits of those karmas sooner or later. True happiness is in doing those karmas to the best of your abilities, and not because you want fruits out of it. Fruits are something that you will get anyway, but the focus should be on karmas and not on the fruits.
