Lot of times we look at in utter disbelief at the events that occur around us. How could such bad things happen, and especially to good people? I believe that the higher-self guides or manages the universe, and we should not look at events as random events.
All events good or bad have a purpose to serve, which is in line with the higher-self managing the universe. If running an organization or a country can witness a plethora of events, good, bad or ugly, just imagine managing the universe.
I feel that it is all planned till the end, and it is cyclic. You have a choice that you can make, but a lot of times you will feel that you never had any choice, but were bound by certain events to make that single calling. People who have lived their lives generally make statements that if they look back, they feel that nothing was in their control. If nothing is within you control, and if you are a player in the hands of the higher self, then why this concept of Karma?
Everybody at any point of time, is served with a deck of cards. These cards decide your course of action based on how you want to play. That is your karma. So you are entitled to free-will, but only as much as what has been served to you by the higher-self, or God, if you will. So the fate is not exactly sealed when you are born, but it is what you make of yourself, as you play with the deck of cards given to you when you were born.
Every card you throw, i.e., every Karma you do will have it’s consequences. Nobody can save you from the “rewards” of your Karmas, as this universe is guided by the Law of Karma. So how do you know, what card to play, or what action to take? Why not take help from the higher-self or the God himself. He has given you aces, which allows you to converse or commune with him or her, and seek guidance, support or solace, as you go around doing your Karma.
But even given all this, the higher-self is merciful enough to prevent any collateral damage. Bad events, could have been worse had it not been for his sympathy, support or mercy. So it is good to be optimistic, as HE is always benevolent. There is nothing like a bad deed in his life. You can for sure trust that whatever happened, happened for good, else things could have been worse.
You are always better off with him managing this universe, and he does a great job at it.
