There is always a time when your karmas will fructify, and when the time is ripe, everything will assist you and things happen very easily for you. So this does not mean that everything is fate. It is your karma, past, present and future that decide your fate.
Past karmas also mean karmas in your previous lives. Your karmas in your past lives, this life, will affect all your future lives. The best thing to here do is to never bother about fruits. If you start paying attention to fruits, you will never be happy. Do your karma, and when the fruits arrive, you may take it. The focus should always be on doing the karma, and never on the fruits.
I would say that always keep doing some “satkarma”, even if you have done something wrong, or are doing something wrong. It will negate the affects of your bad karma.
We all do things that are wrong at some point of time. For every wrong that we do, let us make it a habit to do at least ten right things. This is enough to cover all the bads. If you do more, you get the benefits, and no harm is done 🙂
So if you feel that you have done something wrong, please go ahead and do some ten good things anywhere. Even giving ten small donations to beggars are fine. Or make ten small donations for any good cause. Places of worship, education, health, and similar causes. Any good cause.
If you cannot do it with money, then do ten good acts. It can be as simple a being nice to ten people.
Do it for one year, and let me know if you feel any difference.
